​PROPERTY


Perched on a mountainside spanning 27 acres, Rainforest Gardens boasts breathtaking vistas of the bay. A labour of love cultivated over decades, the lush gardens teem with rare flora and fauna covering nearly 5 acres of the property. The terrain stretches all the way up to the mountaintop, where the verdant bushland plays host to cuddly creatures like wallabies, koalas, possums, and magnificent avian species. One can often catch sight of hawks circling overhead, adding to the ethereal ambience.

Tucked amidst a sea of palms lies the enchanting Amphitheatre garden, a self-contained haven of serenity. This delightful venue accommodates up to 150 guests and is equipped with a cutting-edge built-in sound system and wireless microphone. To its rear stands the Bell Tower, a cosy covered space that offers a perfect location for post-ceremony canapés or a splendid ceremony alternative. Ideal for an intimate gathering, wedding ceremony, or simply strolling through or enjoying a picnic while taking in the scenery during an overnight accommodation stay in our chalets.

Constructed in 2015, The Pavilion is a spacious, open-air undercover venue tailored for wedding receptions and events. The space comes complete with fans, heaters, sound system, and bar. You’ll see our stunning exposed roof beams when you look towards  breathtaking views of Coochiemudlo Island, Macleay Island, and Stradbroke Island.

Finally, four charming luxury chalets were built in 2020 to provide accommodation for guests attending weddings, events, or the general public. Located next to our forty-year-old hoop pine forest, these exquisite chalets offer unrivalled views of Moreton Bay and are perfect for relaxing by the fireplace and immersing oneself in the tranquillity of the surroundings.

We couldn't be happier with how the day turned out; it was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, and the flowers were better than I could have imagined! With a location only 40 minutes from Brisbane or 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, you can enjoy a perfect overnight stay without the hassle of having to travel too far.

Our chalets were built in 2020 and offer luxurious accommodations, including a queen-sized bed, an expansive ensuite bathroom with breathtaking views of the rainforest and gardens, a large balcony with outdoor seating that offers spectacular views of Moreton Bay, and a kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine, and refrigerator. Additionally, each chalet has reverse cycle air conditioning and a romantic wood fireplace to enhance the ambiance of your stay.

Our accommodation is included in our Ceremony & Reception packages for your wedding night, but you can also book a stay for a relaxing getaway. Be sure to take advantage of the tranquil atmosphere and stroll through the gardens while you are here.
