Casual Functions Staff

About the business and the role
Rainforest Gardens is one of the Redland's premier outdoor wedding and function venues situated at Mount Cotton.  We are a family business supported by a close team of hardworking and dedicated individuals.

We are seeking motivated casual functions staff to assist in various roles at weddings and functions.

Essential requirements of this role are:

• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• An outgoing personality and sense of humour with a professional manner
• The ability to communicate comfortably & positively with our clients and their guests
• Self motivated
• Ability to perform physical work
• Willingness to go above and beyond for our clients and their guests
• Ability to work successfully within a close team environment
• Ability to clean venue spaces to a high standard
• High standard of grooming, presentation and dress standards
• Ability to follow direction
• The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including late evenings and on weekends
• Ability to ensure immaculate presentation and set up of the function spaces
• Own transport
  
  

Skills and experience

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• Hospitality industry experience
• Bar experience
• Barista experience preferred
