When you arrive at Rainforest Gardens Escape, access is through our main gate (Gate A), which is located at the very top of Mount View Road in the cul-de-sac.
There is additional parking a further 50 metres up the mountain for additional guest vehicles. Follow the bitumen road up the hill and veer right at the fork in the road; the additional guest vehicle parking is near the water tanks.
ADDITIONAL EXTRAS
We offer a range of add-ons for your enjoyment throughout your stay, including breakfast hampers, cheese and chocolate platters, picnic baskets and champagne on ice. A full list of add-ons and pricing can be found here. These can be purchased here - just select your dates, select the add-ons & enter in your card details to purchase. These add-ons can be booked up to 24 hours prior to your stay.
ROADS
Our roads are shared with pedestrians, other venue vehicles and wildlife, so we ask that you please drive carefully and no faster than 10km/h as you arrive and leave the property.
WATER
Rainforest Gardens relies solely on tank water. We would appreciate your assistance in keeping water use to a minimum.
The toilet is a septic waste system, so please only flush body waste and toilet paper down the toilet. Other items will cause blockages and failures which are expensive to rectify.
FIREPLACE
A wood fireplace is available to use if you'd like an even cosier chalet experience.
To light the fireplace please use the provided firelighters and small kindling which can be easily found around the property.
Do not overload the fireplace with excessive amounts of wood, and always use the provided glove when touching the handle.
For your safety, we ask that you don't empty the fireplace on departure as there may still be hot embers.
OUR FURRY AND FEATHERED FRIENDS
Please feel free to explore the entire property and introduce yourself to our herd of alpacas, gaggle of geese, flock of chickens and ducks. We ask that you respect the privacy of guests staying in the other chalets and respect the private property signs. Please don't enter the alpaca paddocks without us present and keep gates shut at all times.
We are happy for you to join us at feeding time if you would like to get up close and personal - please get in touch with Nick if you'd like to join us. We also ask you to be aware of our security guard geese who sometimes get protective when they are about to nest. If you are close and they look unhappy, please keep your distance.

GATE ACCESS, PARKING & KEYS
When you arrive at Rainforest Gardens Escape, access is through our main gate (Gate A), which is located at the very top of Mount View Road in the cul-de-sac.
- You will need to open the electronic gates by calling 0490 214 942. Upon calling, the line will hang up automatically and triggers the gate to open and close after 60 seconds. You must call from the phone number provided upon booking. Please ensure your car is a sufficient distance away from the gates, as they open towards the street.
- --PLEASE NOTE THE GATE WILL AUTOMATICALLY CLOSE AFTER 60 SECONDS--
- Once you enter through the gates, continue driving for about 100 metres straight up the driveway by following the signage. Once you pass the hoop pine forest on the right hand side, there is an area marked "carpark" to the left for you to park your car. Please note there is only space for one vehicle per chalet. Please park in your designated carpark (e.g. Chalet 1 - park in car park space 1).
- Deliver your luggage to your chalet - please see your text from SIRVOY for details on which chalet you are staying in and the key code for the Key Safe. The chalets are located on the opposite side of the road, and each chalet is signed individually (you'll find a map below with instructions on how to find each chalet).
- The key to your chalet is in the Key Safe adjacent to the glass sliding door on the chalet. To unlock, slide the front black lid down, enter your key code and then push the black button downwards (next to the number dial), remove the key and then close the lid. To avoid misplacing the keys, please place them back inside the box whenever you leave the property.
There is additional parking a further 50 metres up the mountain for additional guest vehicles. Follow the bitumen road up the hill and veer right at the fork in the road; the additional guest vehicle parking is near the water tanks.
